FAQ's
- Q: What age does my child have to be to attend?
A: 10 to 18 years of age (middle school through high school)
- How much does it cost to register for the Conference?
- Online registration has a $3.00 processing fee associated with it for the entire group. Acceptable forms of payment are: online: Visa or MasterCard or mail in check. Make checks payable to: Mt. Zion Baptist Church.
- Conference t-shirts are available for $10 each and can be pre-ordered with online registration or purchased at the bookstore upon arrival.
- Food is available for sell for lunch and before and after evening service at a modest fee. Meal tickets can be purchased onsite.
- How do I register?
If you are attending the evening service only, there is no need to register. For day sessions, there are two ways to register for the Conference. They are listed below in preferred order:
- Preferred: Go to http://www.youcanmakeitcrusade.com and complete the online registration.
- Collect all information before beginning the online registration process:
- First and last names, age, t-shirt size (if purchasing for pre-order)
- Chaperone name & mobile number for every group of 10 and t-shirt size
- Review and select the community service opportunity for members of your group. Your group does not have to stay together, everyone will be brought back to the church upon completion of the service.
- Have a credit card to complete the registration. There is a single $3 processing fee for any group size.
- Mail your completed Conference registration form filled out in full to:

- Where do I check-in?
Check in at Registration / Information kiosks at the Mt. Zion Old Hickory Location.
- Where is Lost & Found located?
Lost & Found will be located at the Registration / Information kiosks.
- What do I do in an Emergency situation?
In an emergency situation, your first priority is to remain calm. If you are assisting an injured student, do not move them. If you are near a phone, immediately call the Hotel Operator or 911 which ever is appropriate for the situation. If you are not near a phone, locate someone that might assist you in getting emergency personnel to your location as soon as possible. After the emergency situation has been stabilized, please contact your emergency contact associated with the child or individual. If the emergency occurs while at the Mt. Zion or Community Service location, contact a staff member of the YCMI Conference and inform them of the situation at (615) 254-7296.
- Can I invite family and friends?
Yes, you can! We strongly encourage you to invite additional family and friends that might benefit from being at the Conference.

- Where can I buy food while at the conference?
The conference will have several food vendors to choose from during lunch and before and after evening service.
- What types of community service opportunities are available on Friday? Community service is one way to teach our children the importance of living their Christian faith in community. These hands on learning experience is designed to expose our youth to the needs in community, to give them some experience in meeting those needs and to provide an opportunity afterward to express and process the experience. Listed below are a few opportunities that are available. Select them through the pre-registration process.
- How do I sign my child up to participate in the Community Youth Choir or the Community Dance Group?

- Is there seating with handicap access?
Yes, the venues are ADA compliant with limited handicap seating. If there are special needs or circumstances, please make us aware of those needs ahead of arrival to help us prepare.
- Can I bring my video recorder and camera to the Conference?
Unfortunately NOT. No still pictures or video recording of guest speakers or musical artist is allowed. There will be an opportunity to purchase video and CD of services nightly. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated.
- When should I arrive in Nashville?
You should plan to arrive on Wednesday. If you or your youth will be participating in any Music, Fine Arts, or Special Events, along with any one of your group specifically volunteering during the Conference, there are scheduled meeting and rehearsals beginning on Wednesday at 2:00pm. - How should I dress for the Conference?
There is a dress code for the youth. See dress code section. We recommend that you support the Conference further by following these recommendations. Please consider appropriate dress for the weather of Nashville, TN. In the summer, as well as, air-conditioned buildings that you will be moving through. Some youth will have community service activities outside, so prepare to bring hats and sunglasses.
